Work chosen for Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize Exhibition

Nick’s work, "Arkengarthdale, Reeth Low Moor' (at left), has been selected for the 2007 Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize Exhibition, a prestigious competition which only accepted 66 works out of approximately 800 submitted. The exhibition, held in London’s Painter’s Hall in November and organized by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers in collaboration with the Lynn Foundation, recognizes and promotes creative representational painting and the skill of draughtsmanship.

The judging panel for the 2007 exhibition were as follows:
Laura Gascoigne: Art Critic for The Spectator
Ken Howard RA: Artist
Francis Kyle: Gallery Owner
James Lloyd: Artist
Daphne Todd OBE: Artist, Past President RP
Andrew Wilton: Visiting Research Fellow at Tate Britain
Ian Fair, a Trustee of the Lynn Foundation, acting as non-voting Chairman of the panel.
