Nick's work "Teesdale near Barningham" (at left) has been selected for the 2007 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London, despite record number of entries in the open submission.

A show of small works independently selected by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world, the Discerning Eye exhibition provides up and coming artists from across the UK with an opportunity to exhibit their work alongside that of established names. "One of the most important independent exhibitions in the UK, the Discerning Eye is based on commitment to individuality, excellence and increasing opportunities for artists in this country."

Nick’s painting was singled out and selected for inclusion by the artist Sarah Armstrong-Jones, one of the six judges for the exhibition.
